In the weeks after the tragic fire that destroyed
220 Walworth, I viewed two perspective new homes in the neighborhood. The second house on Pulaski St. only a few blocks away from my old neighbors on Walworth seemed ideal. It had room enough for all my old housemates as well as a garden, basement and space for events such as the "sketch group" drawing event my housemates regularly hosted. I am very fortunate that all but one of my housemates who remained in the city was interested in joining me in the new home.
